
On March 20, 2025, the Maison Minatec vibrated to the rhythm of the 17th edition of the Junior Scientist and Industry Annual Meeting (JSiam). Organized by the GIANT Innovation Campus, this must-attend event in the Grenoble peninsula brought together over 180 PhD candidates and around 40 professionals from industry, consulting, and startups. Let’s take a look back at a day dedicated to networking and the role of AI in job search and recruitment.

JSIAM is part of GIANT’s commitment to building bridges between academic research and the socio-economic world. A conference by Damien Gosseries, founder of Dreamin’Job, where he explained how AI works and its applications in recruitment, covering CV optimization, cover letters, and candidate sourcing.

#Doc4Office: A 100% Female Podium!
A highlight of #JSIAM2025, the #Doc4Office competition challenged PhD candidates to present a unique and impactful CV poster. More than just a document, this competition encouraged participants to highlight their skills, expertise, personality, and career aspirations. The goal? Stand out from the crowd by asserting their professional identity and embodying the “Best Doc in Town” for a day!
This year’s competition saw a 100% female podium, celebrating the talent and diversity of scientific careers. Congratulations to the three winners who rose to the challenge brilliantly!
