The highly ambitious objective of detecting a planet in its formative stage in very close
orbit around an extremely young star has been achieved by researchers at the Grenoble Institute of Planetary Sciences and Astrophysics (IPAG), a research center jointly
supported by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA). The remarkable discovery was achieved by combining multiple
advanced observational and numerical modelling techniques, made possible by the ERC Advanced Grant: Star-Planet-Inner Disk Interactions (SPIDI).
